Greetings From Roy And E.
We want everyone to know how much we appreciate the work that you and your staff did on
behalf of our petition for a K1 Visa.
I flew to Krasnoyarsk to be with her and her family for a few days of farewell. We flew to
Moscow December 15th. The paralegals in Moscow where very helpful to complete the last
few documents. It was interesting to be with E. during the medical exam portion of the Visa
process. On the morning of Dec. 18 we walked in the snow to the American Embassy.
E. returned to the Hotel by 9:00 a.m. with a smile of success. However, the next few days
were filled with apprehension as we waited for the Visa to be delivered to the DHL office. The
Visa did not arrive until Christmas Eve. We bought tickets and left Moscow for London that
evening. On Christmas day we departed London and arrived in Philadelphia 4:00 p.m.
Christmas day.
To make a long, adventurous and happy story short. We were married last week
February 10th, ~on my Birthday. The best Birthday present ever.
Now, we would like to proceed with the processing of E.'s documents for more permanent
status, employment and driver license. What are the steps needed to complete this process?
Also, what documents will she need to travel in and out of USA? Will her Russian Passport
have to be changed to show her new surname.
I could not imagine doing this without the assistance of an attorney. Too many details that could
be overlooked.
Thanks again for your support and advice,
